Capoeira - A journey to the roots of this Afro-Brazilian martial art

The roots of Capoeira, an Afro-Brazilian martial art, can be traced back to the fighting techniques and dances brought to Brazil by African. A group of French and Brazilian capoeiristas decides to go to the Capoeira Rencontres Internationales in Benin, the birthplace of a “game” synonymous to its practitioners with resistance, emancipation and memory.
